If you're familiar with Vainu's previous platform, you may notice some differences when using our updated version. This guide will help you navigate these changes and take full advantage of the new features available in Vainu.
Managing Your Lists
On the main page, you can easily manage your lists:
My Lists: These are lists you’ve created using search filters.
Custom Lists: These contain imported or manually added companies.
If you have lists created on the older platform, you'll find them under the Legacy Lists section. While you can view the results of these lists, editing them is not possible in the new platform.
To edit these lists in the new platform, you can use the Migrate List feature:
Note: If a dynamic list was created with incompatible filters, those filters will not be included during the migration process. You’ll be able to see which filters are missing and adjust the lists as needed. Once migrated, the list will appear under My Lists.
Managing Multiple Country Databases
If your Vainu subscription includes multiple country databases, you’ll only see information from the selected database. This means when viewing a specific country database, you can only search and access companies, lists, and triggers associated with that database. You can switch between country databases by clicking the flag icon at the top of the page.
Managing Triggers
The Triggers view in the new platform only displays triggers created in your selected database.
Custom Lists and Filter Options
The filter categories and logic have been updated for a more intuitive experience:
New Filter Categories: Vainu Filters have been reorganized into new, more logical categories.
New Filters Available:
Location Type(Headquarters, branch, other)
Estimated Company Size(Micro, small, medium, large, enterprise)
Website Traffic Rank
New Financial Filters: Quick ratio, EBIT margin, equity ratio.

If you see an error: "You don’t have access to the new Vainu platform" it means that your contract has not yet been updated to include use of the New Vainu platform. Use app.vainu.io link to login to the older platform and contact your Customer Success Manager or customersuccess@vainu.io to update your contract!
