Can I access both platforms, and if so, where?
Let's start with the basics! Our two platforms can be accessed through the following links:
New platform: https://vainu.app/
Old platform: https://app.vainu.io/
Depending on your permissions you may only have access to one of the platforms.
📅 Update Q1/2026: We will sundown the old platform during 2026, and are slowly removing access to the old platform from customers who are primarily using the new one.
If your attempt to log in to the new platform ends in a short error message ("You don’t have access to the new Vainu platform"), please reach out to our Customer Success team (customersuccess@vainu.io) to make sure we can help you start using our new platform.
Managing Your Lists
On the main page, you can easily manage your lists:
My Lists: These are lists you’ve created using search filters. These used to be called Dynamic lists.
Custom Lists: These are lists that have either been created by uploading a list to Vainu or by manually adding companies from company cards or other lists. These used to be called Static lists.
If you have lists created on the older platform, you'll find them under the Legacy Lists section. While you can see the full list of organizations on these lists, editing them is not immediately possible on the new platform. To be able to edit them, you will need to use the Migrate List feature.
It is possible that a dynamic list on the older platform contains incompatible filters that are no longer available on the new platform, those filters will not be migrated. You’ll be able to see which filters are missing and adjust the lists as needed. Once migrated, the list will disappear from the Legacy Lists section, and appear under My Lists.
Managing Multiple Country Databases
If your Vainu subscription includes multiple country databases, you’ll only see information from one database at a time. This means when viewing a specific country database, you can only search and access companies, lists, and triggers associated with that database. You can switch between country databases by clicking the flag icon at the top of the page.
Managing Triggers
The Triggers view in the new platform only displays triggers created in your selected database.
Filter Options
The filter categories have been rearranged to hopefully provide a more intuitive user experience. We have also added a bunch of new filters including but not limited to:
Location Type (Headquarters, Branch, Other)
Estimated Company Size (Micro, Small, Medium, Large, Enterprise)
Website Traffic Rank
New Financial Filters (Quick ratio, EBIT margin, Equity ratio)
Recruitment Keywords
And so much more new
