All data visible in Vainu is sourced from public sources and official registers. To maintain data accuracy, Vainu updates its information at regular intervals. If you find any incorrect company data from Vainu, contact support team, so they can help.

Vainu collects basic company information on Nordic business entities from multiple official sources, such as national Patent and Trade offices and Government agencies. The data always reflects what is recorded in these official sources.

The information, including postal address, business ID, activity status, and official industry code, are updated daily. If any data is incorrect, it must first be updated in the official registers, and after update Vainu will automatically update the data.

Vainu obtains financial data and statements from official registers. These statements are processed automatically, where text and numbers are identified and assigned to the correct data points. While the process generally captures data accurately, occasional errors may occur, resulting in incorrect or missing values. These can be corrected manually by Vainu support team.

Vainu gathers website data, including keywords, technologies, and some of the contacts, by crawling the websites listed on company profiles.
The amount of information Vainu gathers per website is limited and that's why if the website is larger in size, we might miss some information displayed on the website.

Vainu collects contact information from official sources, company websites, and manually crawled open sources. Ideally, each contact is reviewed every six months, either through website crawling or manual updates by our Data team.
