Change your password
You can change your password through Vainu settings. Go to Settings > People & Team.
You should see the email address you are using as your Vainu login and a Change password button on the right. Click on the button and you will then be asked to enter your old password and the new password twice for confirmation.
🔑 Password in Vainu must be at least 8 characters long. We strongly recommend using a strong password with numbers, uppercase and lowercase characters, as well as special characters.
Reset your forgotten password
If you forgot your Vainu password, you can request a password reset email through Vainu login page: https://vainu.app/login/
Things to note:
Do not leave empty spaces in front or behind the email address when sending in the reset request.
Users who have never activated their Vainu account in the first place cannot request a new password.
Users who use SSO login do not always have a separate Vainu password, and in those cases no password reset email will be sent. Password management is managed through Microsoft or Google depending on the used service.
"I did not receive the password reset email"
First, check your spam folder! Sometimes Vainu emails get re-routed into your spam folder. If the email is not in your spam folder, you can contact Vainu Support to make sure your account is not inactive or deleted.
